What Red Shirt Comics said:

Captain America picks up the shield again following the events of Secret Empire. Mark Waid takes over writing duties while Chris Samnee handles the visuals. Waid has written Cap before and his run even lands at number 8 of Comic Alliance's Top 10 Essential Captain America Runs. Nick Spencer gave fans a lot to chew on and deftly wrote a great run of the Falcon to boot but now Waid is taking Cap back to basics and hitting the road. It's time for Cap to get to know the country he fights for from a different point of view as he searches to make a home for himself.

DC Pick of the Week:

Deadman #1 (of 6)

$4.99

(W) Neal Adams (A/CA) Neal Adams

"Journey into Death" part one! When we last left Deadman, the true story had barely begun! Deadman's death was unsolved, and his fate was intertwined with that of his parents and siblings. Even the Dark Night Detective couldn't solve the mysteries of Boston Brand's fantastic secrets! Now, Batman is back, confronting Deadman about who was really behind his death. Was Boston Brand's assassination a test for the League of Assassins? Why does Batman think Ra's al Ghul was involved? And why does Deadman need the help of Zatanna, Phantom Stranger, Dr. Fate and the Spectre to defend Nanda Parbat? RATED T+

What Red Shirt Comics said:

Neal Adams is a master of this medium. His comics work has been pretty sparse in the later end of his career as he has been working on other endeavors. But the comics he produces are worth savoring.

What Red Shirt Comics said:

I love Atomic Robo. Think Hellboy meets Astroboy. It's this light, exciting adventure story with down to earth, naturally enjoyable characters.
